*NEW ebook*: "Automated Postal Center Conversions 2012-2014"

In 2016, I released a new ebook that tells the story of the USA Automated Postal Center Conversions from 2012-2014.

This ebook was entered as a philatelic literature entry at the NY2016 International Stamp Show held in New York City from May 28 - June 4, 2016, where it was awarded a "Vermeil" level award (which is between silver and gold awards).

There are 230 pages in an easy-to-use "eBook" (requires Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10 and an optical DVD+/-RW drive). There is no installation required, although it is recommended that you copy the contents of the disk to a local hard drive as it will run quicker that way.

(Note: The DVD disk will be mailed via tracked 1st Class Parcel within the USA, and untracked Airmail to foreign destinations).

Airports on Stamps eBook

"AIRPORT PHILATELY": an easy-to-use self-running philatelic reference CD-ROM (nothing to install) that currently has over 830 scans of stamps and postal stationery items from all over the world that pertain to the theme AIRPORTS.  Also included are some revenue stamps of the "Airport Departure Tax" type.   All postage stamps are identified by their respective Scott Standard Stamp Catalog(tm) catalog numbers which are used by permission from Amos Publishing.  Items not listed in Scott's, such as postal stationery items may be identified by other catalog numbers (where known).

The CD works on PC's running Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10.

The CD's are only $19.95 + shipping & sales tax.  Instant ordering/payment via PayPal is available via one the button above.  I will ship immediately upon notification of payment receipt by PayPal (this would be immediate for credit card or funded PayPal account payments, or up to 3-4 business days for e-check transfers.

Shipments within the USA will be via tracked 1st Class mail; foreign destinations will be via standard untracked airmail service.

Airports on Stamps & Postal Stationery Listing:

I can also provide a listing of all known stamps & postal stationery items.  This listing can take the form of an electronic file, such as an Adobe PDF file, a Word document or an Excel Spreadsheet.  An Excel spreadsheet is recommended since you can use it as a want-list!  Due to licensing issues, I can not provide catalog numbers with the listing, however, my list will show the name of the country, the year issued, the description of the stamp, the face value of the stamp plus any comments.

"The History of Audi" eBook

A must for any Audi fan:   a self-running e-book CD-ROM that tells the story of the automobile manufacturer Audi and the various related companies (i.e.: Horch, Wanderer, DKW, NSU, Auto Union and others) via postage stamps and other paper collectible materials (postcards, poster stamps, cigarette cards, trump game cards, vintage magazine advertisements, etc).  Several hundred items are showcased on this CD!

The e-book is based on a philatelic exhibit called "4 Rings - The History of Audi" that has been shown at the Mid-Cities Stamp Club's (http://www.mid-citiesstampclub.com) yearly "Stamp EXPO", as well as at "TEXPEX" (a national-level stamp exhibition held in Dallas each spring).

The e-book has also received the following literature awards:

  • VERMEIL medal at the TEMEX 2003 Philatelic Literature Exhibition held in Buenos Aires, Argentina and was judged according to international philatelic literature guidelines.
  • LARGE SILVER medal at the Washington 2006 International Philatelic Exhibition (http://www.washington2006.org/) held in Washington DC from May 27 - June 3, 2006.
  • VERMEIL medal at Praga2008 (Poland), Sept. 12-14, 2008

Copies of the CD-ROM have also been donated to the Wineburgh Philatelic Library (located at the University of Texas special collections library in Richardson, Texas) as well as the American Philatelic Research Library (in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania).

This e-book is "self-running" (meaning that it runs directly from your CD-ROM drive and does NOT require anything to be installed on your computer).  It runs on standard Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10 PC's.

You simply click on a page to turn it (like a real book), or sit back, relax and use the "AutoFlip" or "SlideShow" options to let the software turn the pages for you!

St. Vincent Philatelic reference CD's are available:

In order to provide others with a feel for the interesting philatelic items that are available from St. Vincent, I have compiled a reference CD containing hundreds of images of the following St. Vincent items:

  • Postage Stamps from  1861 - 1965
  • Postmarks
  • Postal History
  • Postal Stationery
  • Picture Postcards (prior to 1940)
  • Revenue Stamps
  • Postage & Revenue Stamps on Document
  • Fakes & Forgeries
  • Registration Labels
  • OHMS & Official Covers
  • Censor Covers (World War II)
  • Errors & Varieties
  • "Local" Stamps

At present, there are over 1,500 images on the CD. Scan quality is generally 300 dpi and in some cases 600 dpi when warranted. All images are in standard JPEG (JPG) format.

The CD is self-running (there is nothing to install!) and will run on all standard "Windows"-based PC's (Windows versions 7 to 10). The images are presented in a "FlipAlbum" (reg'd trademark of "E-Book Systems") format, making this truly a "virtual" stamp album!    I only make these CD's when you request one, so you will always have the latest and greatest copy !

Due to the sheer number of images, the software now opens up as a "bookshelf" from which you can choose to view individual FlipAlbums based on the topics above.  This has greatly improved the performance of the CD
